Award-Winning Brain Training
3-Stage Experiential Learning Approach
(1) Learn   (2) Practise   (3) Apply

Would you want your child to master learning and build strong foundation
through a fun enrichment backed by research and results?

Children learn effortlessly and acquire important foundation skills through Kuno Method's specially researched and designed 3-stage experiential learning experience.

When children cultivate the “ability to think” independently, they become disciplined and acquire a lifetime of good study and work habits. Their confidence and independence will also blossom.

Every Kuno Method lesson engages children through a 3-stage experiential learning process for most effective learning experience!

Stage 1. Learn Concept

Interactive Group Play
During group play, children are first introduced to new concepts in a fun and interactive way using authentic activities (i.e. things they see in the real-world outside the confines of the classroom).

  • Sensory experience makes lessons memorable and inspire new ideas
  • Whole-body movement builds hand-eye coordination

When children work collaboratively, they:
  • learn from gamification and observation
  • learn courtesy and etiquette
  • learn to articulate own point of view

Stage 2. Practise Concept

Hands-On Manipulatives
After group play, children work on individual hands-on manipulatives:
  • children learn to draw the link between real-life problems and the hands-on manipulatives that they are working on
  • children understand the problems from different angles or points of view
  • stimulated to discover answers on their own
  • helps to reinforce what they have experienced during group play session

Stage 3. Apply Concept

Dialogue | Worksheets
During the final stage of learning, teachers may engage each child for a one-on-one dialogue where the child articulates his/her thinking process in solving the problem.

One-on-one dialogue:
  • crystallises children's understanding of concepts
  • encourages them to internalise and articulate what they have learnt
  • allows teachers to provide immediate feedback and guide thought process
  • develops self confidence in the children

Specially curated worksheets:
  • make up less than 25% of lesson time
  • questions are narrated to train important listening skills

By this stage, children would have acquired deep understanding of the lesson's concepts, and hence be able to complete specially curated worksheets independently.
