Operating Safely

Safe Management Measures Against Covid-19

Picture
It has been more than 2 years since the global Covid-19 pandemic started.
As Covid-19 becomes endemic, waves of infection are becoming a normal occurrence much like the HFMD or seasonal flu. Nevertheless, we continue to stay vigilant to protect the health & safety of our students and staff.

Don't let Covid-19 disrupt your routine and your child's learning progression.

If everyone at Kuno Method is socially responsible and practises
good hygiene habits, we can keep viruses at bay.

Easing of Safe Management Measures
From 26 April 2022

Q: What are the safe management measures for enrichment centres like Kuno Method?
A: Masks must be worn as a default at all times.
You may read the 22-Apr-2022 MOE advisory here.
Dear Parents/Guardians

Kuno Method is committed to keep our centres safe and clean for you, your children and our staff.

Throughout the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, Kuno Method has endeavoured to provide as full an educational experience as possible for our children while maintaining a balance of minimising risks by maximising control measures.

We update our practices in tandem with the advisories from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Ministry of Education (MOE). We also enhanced our existing Internal Infection Control measures (temperature check, visual screening, hand-sanitising, air-sanitising), to ensure that our centre remain a safe and healthy learning environment.

We also provide more than the usual 1 replacement lesson per term to ensure only children who are well attend lessons.

Additional Measures that Kuno Method Undertake
For your peace of mind and to reduce risk of transmission to the community, all Kuno Method staff:
(1) are fully vaccinated
(2) wear surgical masks during lessons

Enhanced Infection Control & Other Measures
We perform our usual temperature checks, visual screening (for symptoms of infectious disease) and hand-sanitisation at the door, instead of in the classroom.

We are also mindful that anyone could also be infectious but show no signs/symptoms, or shows symptoms of infections but are actually well. In consideration of other children, and your child’s health, please keep your child at home if he/she is unwell, and see a doctor instead of self-medicating.

We have a comprehensive set of hygiene practices in place, including more frequent sanitisation of all classrooms and common areas after each lesson. coating high-touch areas with self-disinfecting SDST spray,  sterilisation of classrooms and in-class materials with UV light, exam-style seating for classes with more than 2 students, etc
